COPTON designs and manufactures its own lubricants — confirmed by ISO 9001 and VDA 6.1 certificates covering the design and production of oils.
Plant and R&D
In 2017 COPTON invested 370 million yuan in a plant built to Industry 4.0 standards: a tank farm, research centre, production complex and automated warehouse on about 11 hectares.
A 50-million-yuan centre with a testing laboratory accredited by CNAS to ISO/IEC 17025 in 2019: over 500 m² and more than 100 instruments. The lab checks raw materials, every batch and new developments; its reports are recognised in ILAC member countries.
Energy-saving nano oils developed by COPTON, Henan University and the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics (Chinese Academy of Sciences) won the second prize of China's National Technology Invention Award in 2019. Joint laboratories with that institute (since 2012), Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Tsinghua University's Tianjin institute (since 2020).
Emerson blending, pigged pipelines that leave only about 1 g of product per metre, DCS and MES systems. The process is automated from raw material intake to shipping, and every batch is traceable.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.1. COPTON is a governing member of the China Lubricant Standards Alliance (CLSAC), helped draft 7 national and 3 industry standards and holds more than 20 patents.

OIL HUB LLCOfficial distributor
OIL HUB LLC (Tashkent) is the official COPTON distributor in Uzbekistan. It supplies auto parts shops, service centres, oil change stations and wholesale partners, and advises on oil selection.

The American Petroleum Institute licenses COPTON to use the API Service Symbol (“donut”) and the API Certification Mark (“starburst”) on its packs. The licence covers COPTON, NANO and GT oils: gasoline up to API SQ and ILSAC GF-7A, diesel up to API CK-4.
ISO 9001:2015
Design, manufacture, sales and service of lubricants and antifreeze. Issued to the Qingdao Copton Petrochemical plant; first certified in 2018.
VDA 6.1:2016
Quality management system to the requirements of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) for the design and manufacture of lubricating oils and antifreeze.
