COPTON receives official BMW Longlife-17 FE+ approval
BMW's top standard for oils in new Euro 6 engines joins COPTON's list of approvals.
Car-maker approvals are the key benchmark of oil quality. COPTON has received the official BMW Longlife-17 FE+ approval — BMW's top engine oil standard for the latest N- and B-series Euro 6 and China 6 engines.
The standard matches ACEA C5 and sets strict requirements for detergency, oxidation stability, fuel economy and particulate filter compatibility, all confirmed in bench tests.
It adds to COPTON's approvals from leading manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volvo and Cummins.
