COPTON becomes global supplier of e-axle oil for Bosch
The manufacturer passed Bosch's audits and joined its global supply chain.
COPTON passed Bosch's audits and became a global supplier of electric drive axle (e-axle) oil. According to the manufacturer, it is the first time a Chinese lubricant maker has joined the core global supply chain of a company at this level.
Bosch executives from Germany visited COPTON's plant in Qingdao and praised its digital production, quality control and CNAS-accredited laboratory. The plant runs DCS and MES systems: production is automated and every batch is traceable.
E-axle oil has to handle high speeds and torque, protect against wear and oxidation and avoid copper corrosion. This experience underpins the New Energy line that is also in our catalog.
